I have a fic I keep turning over in my head and I outlined it, but haven’t written it yet. It’s an online romance type deal that quickly morphs into a real world connection. Simply put, they (Ian and Mickey) connect while waiting for their lives to change for the worst.
While they wait for their respective nightmares to come to fruition, they decide it doesn’t matter what happens as long as they’re together.
TLDR: The story’s about blindly casting a net for distraction from impending doom and unexpectedly coming up with relationship gold.
